The year twenty-twenty was a year unlike any other.
With the inception of the first lockdown, due to the unrelenting mayhem caused by the microscopic agent of death - who goes by the name of Coronavirus - almost all of us found ourselves caged within the concrete walls of our homes, but with no concrete plans to spend the time in captivity.
And it was during this time the urge to binge watch television series and movies became more intense than ever, and our go-to activity to spend the reclusive days.
So here is a take on the then situation, caused by the seemingly innocuous yet highly malicious piece of organism, using popular television series and movies as puns.
It seems like we are in the Endgame now. Stranger Things are happening out there, and it is certainly making us feel that it might just be The End of The Fucking World, and of course, I'm Not Okay With This.
Being stuck in our homes mean we cannot meet and spend time with our FRIENDS. Our workplaces are shut as people cannot make it to The Office, but some Horrible Bosses are still assigning tasks for us.
The Fast And The Furious world seems to be A Quiet Place all of a sudden.
The Mask has undeniably has become the fashion statement, and staying at least Five Feet Apart from each other has become the order of the hour. You have to master the art of Living With Yourself during these difficult times. People who are stuck Far From Home, away from their hometown, might find it all the more difficult to arrange a Homecoming, as the Flight is still not functional.
Going through this ordeal situation might seem to be a Mission Impossible at the moment, with everything seemingly Breaking Bad,
but it's all about Finding Hope Now.
Italy seems to be a Land Of The Dead at the moment, London Has Fallen, and China is still looking for An Escape Plan. Here in India, Maharashtra and Delhi seem to be the Two States that are suffering the most. Marketplaces are experiencing Rush Hour, and are unable to control The Flood of panic-stricken mankind.
It's About Time, a vaccine needs to be developed. We have to send The Perfect Prayer to the Almighty so that The Day After Tomorrow is a better one.
Maybe, just maybe, it is down to The Fault In Our Starts, that we have to go through something like this.
Time Will Tell.
